2025 Year in Review: Protecting and Providing Across Israel
Saturday, February 14, 2026
“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9
Dear Friends,
As we look back on 2025, we want you to know how deeply grateful we are for your faithful partnership. In a year marked by ongoing security threats and growing needs on the home front, you helped us respond with practical compassion, steady presence, and timely action across Israel.
Because of your generosity, we installed 84 new safety shelters, bringing the total to 483 shelters since the project began. You helped 2,788 families receive gift cards for food and basic necessities, and you provided 912 children with new backpacks as they headed into the school year. At the Millennium Center, 12 gatherings brought comfort and dignity to Holocaust survivors, terror survivors, children at risk, and reserve soldiers and their families. And with 64 medic bags delivered to communities in the north, you strengthened emergency response where every second matters. Three lifesaving ambulances were donated to MDA, including one and a first-of-its-kind MICU.
Below is a month-by-month snapshot of the impact you made possible in 2025. Thank you for standing with Israel in a way that brings protection, provision, and hope.
With gratitude,
Barry & Batya and the VFI team
