Bringing Hope to Israel, One Life at a Time
From the heat of midsummer to the holy days of the Jewish New Year, the third quarter of 2026 was a season of both new beginnings and ongoing challenges for Israel.
As children prepared to return to school, reservists and their families longed for a moment of relief, soldiers faced demanding days in the field, and vulnerable families and Holocaust survivors looked toward Rosh Hashanah with pressing needs.
Vision for Israel was there—bringing practical help, encouragement, and hope when they were needed most.
With your support, we equipped children for a new school year, gave reservists and their wives a precious evening to relax and laugh together, brought relief to soldiers under the scorching sun, put another life-saving ambulance on the road, and helped households and individuals welcome the Jewish New Year with dignity.
Behind every number is a person. Every act of kindness brings hope. Every gift makes a difference.
Together, we are turning compassion into action and making a tangible difference in the lives of the people of Israel.
We invite you to discover the stories behind these moments and see what your partnership is making possible.
Children Start the Year on Equal Footing with Pack to School

Across 14 locations in central and southern Israel, our annual Pack to School project put approximately 836 backpacks into the hands of children from disadvantaged families, providing immediate support to hundreds of children and easing the financial pressure on their families as the new school year began.
Working alongside all people involved, our team welcomed families with warmth and efficiency, even at locations where demand was overwhelming. The joy on the children’s faces as they received backpacks featuring their favorite characters reminded us why this initiative matters: every child deserves the opportunity to begin the school year feeling included and prepared.
A Night to Laugh Again: Restoring Love, Honoring Reservists
We were honored to host a special evening for reserve soldiers and their partners, an opportunity to bless those who have served their country and supported its citizens, while expressing our heartfelt gratitude for their dedication, courage, and sacrifice.
Over 120 participants from across Israel gathered for a festive dinner and an evening filled with warmth and joy. The program featured a performance by a renowned entertainer, couples’ activities, interactive games, and spectacular stunt shows that filled the room with laughter, excitement, and delight.
For these couples, the evening offered something that has been in short supply: uninterrupted time to simply enjoy one another. Beyond the entertainment, the event was thoughtfully designed to strengthen communication, renew connection, and provide a much-needed respite from the demands of military service and daily life.
After a long season of tension, uncertainty, and worry, couples sometimes need time to pause, smile, and laugh together. We were privileged to create that space, to honor these reservists, encourage their partners, and help restore love through shared moments of joy.
Relief from the Heat: Fans for Soldiers in the North
Beneath Israel’s blazing summer sun, soldiers stand watch for hours at a time, their clothes soaked with sweat and the heat pressing down relentlessly. Even as exhaustion sets in, they remain at their posts, protecting our nation and carrying out their duty without complaint.
We wanted them to know they are not forgotten.
Vision for Israel purchased specialized personal powerful solar operated fans to provide reservists serving in the north with much-needed relief during the hottest hours of the day.
Standing with Israel means taking action to meet real needs and lighten the burden of those who defend our nation.
Together, we offer relief, encouragement, and heartfelt gratitude to our dear reservists.
Vehicle No. 26: Saving Lives Across Israel

Every second counts in an emergency. Thanks to the friends of Vision for Israel, we donated our 26th life-saving vehicle to Magen David Adom (MDA)—a fully equipped 4x4 ambulance stationed in the Modi’in area.
Equipped with advanced medical technology, this ambulance will help emergency teams reach those in need quickly, provide critical care in the field, and help expectant mothers reach the hospital safely and in time.
This vital donation was made possible by a dear friend from the United States, a retired U.S. Navy admiral and devoted Christian Zionist who continues to stand with Israel through meaningful action.
26 vehicles. Countless lives to touch. One mission: saving lives and bringing hope to the people of Israel.
We are deeply grateful to every partner who makes this life-saving work possible.
A Day of Joy!
Around 100 children of reserve soldiers enjoyed a joyful Back to School celebration sponsored by Vision for Israel! Games, a comedy show, delicious food, and fun activities filled the day with laughter. Each child also received a new backpack packed with school essentials. We’re proud to support the families of those who sacrifice so much for Israel, and remind them they are never forgotten.
High Holiday Blessings!

Ahead of the Jewish high holidays, Vision for Israel delivered gift cards to 1,271 families and individuals, including single parents, victims of hostilities, the elderly, and Holocaust survivors.
In just a few demanding weeks, our teams worked through social welfare offices across the country, with a special focus on central and southern Israel and the Gaza envelope. This wide-reaching effort brought practical holiday support to people carrying heavy burdens.
The impact was deeply personal. Families shared heartfelt thanks, describing how the gift cards would help ease financial pressure, fill their holiday tables, and bring moments of dignity and joy during a challenging season.
We are grateful to every partner who helped make this meaningful initiative possible.
More Than Lunch: Food Security for Children at Risk

As part of our commitment to nutritional security for children at risk, we partner with a food security initiative that gives approximately 15 children a safe, stable, and inclusive environment after school hours. One of its most significant components is the daily lunch. For some of these children, it is the only hot meal of the day, and in that moment lunch becomes far more than a plate of food. It is a break of calm in the middle of a complex day, the moment when someone hands a child a plate and says, without words, “We are taking care of you.”
We chose to invest in these children out of a deep understanding that it is impossible to learn, grow, and believe in yourself when you are hungry. A hot, consistent, nutritious meal gives the body strength and the soul stability. It is a daily reminder that these children matter and are seen. This is one home among many, and we hope to expand the initiative to more centers.
