For those living in Israel, rocket attacks from Gaza are not uncommon—but the scale, severity, and range of targets involved in more recent attacks have truly been unprecedented.
The towns of southern Israel, including the cities of Sderot, Ashkelon, and Ashdod have suffered for 20 years from rounds of rocket fire and terrorist incidents of intrusion attempts — incendiary balloons, anti-tank fire, and more. Innocent lives are in danger.
We have been urgently contacted to help provide lifesaving equipment designed for these emergencies—specifically: mobile shelters, “Gate Keeper” emergency locking systems, and bomb blast doors.
The shelters and doors operate the way you imagine they would, but the "Gate Keeper" systems are what really make them work. They’re an automatic system installed in a network of portable bomb shelters that unlocks and opens automatically in times of emergency.
Keeping these shelters functioning in a time of heightened crisis is, quite literally, a matter of life and death for all the people of Israel.
