“May the Lord our God be with us as He was with our ancestors; may He never leave us nor forsake us. May He turn our hearts to Him, to walk in obedience to Him…. May these words of mine, which I have prayed before the Lord, be near to the Lord our God day and night, that He may uphold the cause of His servant, and the cause of His people Israel according to each day’s need, so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God and that there is no other.” I Kgs 8:57-60
“The nations shall see your vindication and all the kings your glory.”
“Do not remain silent; do not turn a deaf ear, do not stand aloof, O God. See how your enemies growl, how your foes rear their heads. With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish. ‘Come,’ they say, ‘let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.’” Ps 83:1-4
“The Lord also will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem. The heavens and earth will shake; but the Lord will be a shelter for His people, and the strength of the children of Israel. ‘So you shall know that I am the Lord your God, dwelling in Zion My holy mountain. Then Jerusalem shall be holy, and no aliens shall ever pass through her again.’” Joel 3:16-17
“Why do the nations rage and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His anointed, saying, ‘Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.’ He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: ‘Yet I have set My King on My holy mountain of Zion.” Ps 2: 1-6
“On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.” Zech 12:3
“Behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations. They have also divided up My land.” Joel 3: 1-2
“Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.” Ps 31:24
WARMEST HOLIDAY GREETINGS FROM OUR VISION FOR ISRAEL TEAM: Jews and Christians across the world will join in times of celebration as we usher in both Hanukkah and Christmas this Dec. 24th, 2016. As we light the first candle of Hanukkah in Israel this evening, we extend love and appreciation to all of our faithful friends near and far. May your holidays be lavish with blessings of love, joy and hope.
“It shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.” Zech 12:3
Over the years we've had many volunteers who came from all over the world. One of our faithful volunteers, Jenny, came from Adelaide, Australia. She was a nurse and handled all of the medical supplies we received, including distributing them to medical centers in Israel. She loved animals and would have opened an animal shelter if she could. One day she called me and begged to keep a dog she found wandering. She knew she needed a good excuse to convince me (Batya), because we already had five guard dogs.
