Earlier this month, Vision for Israel sponsored a special event, a Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebration for children whose families are victims of terror. The festive day began early in the morning, when buses carrying the boys and girls and their families arrived in Jerusalem. The large group gathered at the entrance to the Kotel and was led to a beautiful hall nearby, where the love was felt everywhere as the guests of honor arrived. The boys and girls and their families enjoyed a festive breakfast and received bags overflowing with gifts.

They then proceeded outside where tables were already arranged with empty boxes lined up in the middle of the parking lot, flanked with boxes of clothing that needed sorting prior to distribution. The weather was perfect for this arrangement -- lots of sunshine with a nice breeze.
