In Israel, at-risk kids grow up in "warm homes*,” due to their parents' inability to provide for their basic needs—whether material or emotional.
We at Vision for Israel support these kids in a variety of ways, including the Food Security Project—a program that provides nutritional security in an educational setting to at-risk kids throughout the year.
This month, they held a culture week where students learned about the different groups and cultures that exist in the country, got the chance to experiment with traditional crafts (e.g. weaving, etc.), and sample traditional foods—sponsored by Vision for Israel.
Your donations promote education for at-risk kids—enriching their world, and helping their successful integration into society as future adults. Thank you, dear friends, for your support.
*"Warm homes" is terminology used in Israel for special homes for children who have been removed from their parents' home.
