Along with the personal assistance we provide at Vision for Israel—to the sick, and to the victims of hostilities—we donate a variety of medical equipment to hospitals, and other emergency rescue organisations throughout the country.
And thanks to you, our generous donors from England and the US, we were able to donate two more ambulances to the Magen David Adom organisation this week.
The ambulances were dedicated to MDA during a cornerstone laying ceremony for the new MDA station in Modi'in, during which an emergency demonstration was held.
So far, Vision for Israel has donated five ambulances to MDA, along with a number of medi-cycles (medical motorcycles). And the exciting reports we receive of their useful and life-saving service are constant reminders of the urgency and value of the work we do together.
One of our ICU-equipped ambulances will be stationed in the Golan, and the other in the Jerusalem area. We wish for a day when there will be no need for them—but until then, we’re confident they’ll serve these stations faithfully, and continue to help save human lives.
