TRUMP’S ISRAEL REPRESENTATIVE RECONNECTS 2,000-YEAR-OLD ROAD LEADING TO SITE OF THIRD TEMPLE: President Donald Trump’s Israel envoy, including Ambassador David Friedman and Middle East Advisor Jason Greenblatt. hammered through the final wall to reconnect a 2,000-year-old road that Ancient Jews used to bring sacrifices up to the Second Temple. The City of David discovered the ‘Pilgrim’s Road’ which was used by Israelites during the Second Temple period (516 BC-70 AD) to bring sacrifices from the Valley of Siloam up to the Temple Mount, the site of the Second Temple and the Third Temple (which has not yet been built). Tchiya Luria, a digger with the City of David explained that when her crew began digging, they realized that there was a road in the location.  However, she “didn’t know exactly where it started”. But as soon as she uncovered the stairs, Luria realized that that was where the road began. “In the past six years, we’ve been working on excavating intensively,” says Archaeologist Dr. Joe Uziel. “The Pilgrim Street which led from the Siloam Pool up to the Temple Mount, about 656 yards long and 8.7 yards wide would have housed the thousands of pilgrims which arrived in Jerusalem from surrounding areas in order to take part in the ceremonies on the Temple” Uziel added. “In 70 AD, Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans who burn it as Josephus says, all the way down to Siloam. And we’ve been exposing that destruction layer which included the coins, the glass vessels and the pottery vessels which smashed onto the street and then were covered over by the buildings that collapsed and sealed that destruction layer which waited 2,000 years for us to come and excavate it,” Uziel said. (Google) “The Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the temple.” Ezek. 43:5

ISRAEL RISES IN INTERNATIONAL SURVEY OF COUNTRIES THAT MAKE ‘QUALITY PRODUCTS’: Israel rose substantially in an international ranking of countries that make quality products, according to a new survey. In the 2019 FutureBrand Country Index, Israel’s ranking among respondents asked if the country makes “products of high quality” rose by 13 points from 2014 to 41%. The 13 point rise was matched only by Slovakia, which rose to 27%. The Index ranked Israel as the 22nd country overall in terms of quality products, and noted, “Individuals more likely to buy products or services made in a specific country are also more likely to recommend that country to visit, would consider it for business, and also for living in or studying there.” (Algemeiner)

JABARI: PALESTINIANS WHO FOLLOW PEACEFUL PATH WITH ISRAELIS WILL BE HARASSED: Anyone who follows the path of peace with Israelis will be harassed, and obstacles will be put in his way – but in the end, that path will succeed, Hebron businessman Ashraf Jabari said last week in Manama, Bahrain. Jabari, one of 14 Palestinian businessmen who attended the USA-sponsored ”Peace to Prosperity” conference made his comments to media sources at a reception hosted by an NGO called, This is Bahrain. His words came before the arrest of a businessman by the Palestinian Authority and the attempted arrest of another on Friday 28 June 2019 for attending the conference. “We are saying to the world that we are working toward peace, true peace – between the two people, not the governments,” Jabari said. He continued that the Israelis and Palestinians have been “with this problem” for 70 years. “We must live either in peace or violence,” he said. “The way to peace is easier. Let’s live in a calm situation and look for a better future for our children”. Jabari said that while 14 Palestinian businessmen came to the conference, another 14 did not come because of the opposition of the PA.  (J. Post)

ANTI-SEMITISM LEADS TO SPIKE IN DEMAND FOR HOMES IN ISRAEL: Real estate agents say a sense of danger and insecurity among many Diaspora Jews is prompting them to snatch up homes in the Jewish state. Anti-Semitism is once again rearing its head across the globe; Jews in Europe are afraid to wear kippot in public. Meanwhile, USA synagogues are being turned into bloodbaths. The sense of insecurity many Diaspora Jews are feeling is prompting them to invest in homes in Israel. The phenomenon is particularly prominent among French Jews, many of whom have made aliyah in the past few years. Moti Iloze of Re/max Netanya said, “This year, we are feeling an uptick in purchases of homes by Jews from abroad at a significant rate, which is having an obvious effect on the market. We sold three apartments to foreign Jews this week alone. One from Russia, one from France, and another from Britain. The Russian buyer never even came to Israel, we showed her the apartment on a live stream and she bought it on the spot. This increase is unusual, because last year, apartments in Netanya weren’t selling so quickly. Now they are. Anti-Semitism is definitely affecting the market.” (Israel Hayom) “Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.” Ps. 37:3

DEATH TOLL IN ISRAELI AIR STRIKES ON SYRIA RISES TO 15: Airstrikes in Syria overnight killed at least 15 people, a monitor organization claimed Monday morning 1 July 2019. The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that air strikes in Damascus and Homs at around midnight between Sunday 30 June 2019 and Monday 1 July killed at least nine soldiers, most of them Iranians. In addition, the SOHR reported that six civilians were killed in the bombings. The strikes reportedly included not only attacks by Israeli Air Force jets, but also projectiles fired by Israeli naval vessels. The attacks targeted Assad regime and Iranian military positions outside of Damascus, along with facilities used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization. At least 10 sites in the Damascus area were struck. Among the targets hit by the strikes were the headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ 91st Brigade, stationed south of Damascus; a military research center, and ammunition storage facilities near Qara, just east of the Lebanese border. Israel has not commented on the bombings. (INN)

DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES HINT AT SUPPORT FOR UNLIMITED ABORTION ACCESS: The Democratic candidates debating in Miami last week narrowly avoided embracing unrestricted abortion as a policy platform, opting instead to skirt the issue of third-trimester abortions by citing a woman’s right to privacy. None of the candidates who addressed the subject on the debate stage mentioned any kind of restriction or limit on the procedure, which Democrats used to refer to as ideally being “safe, legal and rare.” Most of them instead boasted about their commitment to ensuring women have access to abortion. The Daily Caller also talked to several candidates following the debates and found an unwillingness to stipulate any restrictions. “Those decisions should only be made by women,” Gillibrand told reporters, referring to abortions in the third trimester. She said earlier this year that the Democratic Party should oust all of its pro-life members. Abortions in the third trimester are typically performed by inserting a vacuum pump inside a woman’s dilated cervix and suctioning the developing baby out of the mother’s womb in pieces, then following up with a metal forceps to ensure none of the fetus remains inside the woman. (Daily Caller) Continue to intercede, in this battle from hell, that greater education about abortion; such as methods used causing torturous deaths to fetuses, and the devastating consequences to the mothers, will be given in schools and health institutions. Intercede that laws across the USA will be changed, leading to the end of all government funding and establishment of stiff penalties for pro-abortion organizations and clinics.

THE SOCIALIST TAKEOVER OF AMERICA: The redistribution of wealth was the first step. In the process the medical profession got hurt, the middle class suffered inordinately, and healthcare for all was never achieved. Insurance premiums skyrocketed. Deductibles became insanely high, and CEOs of insurance companies pocketed millions. Physicians, especially in private practice, have had trouble surviving. President Trump’s election was as much as an attempt by the American people to stave the tide of socialism as it was to bring back jobs to America and make America great again. Unfortunately, the pendulum swing has brought socialism back into vogue. The recent Democratic debates showed the world that the Democratic Party wants to move as far left as possible. It is only President Trump who is preventing a socialist takeover. Socialism has failed time and time again. Socialism sounds like a panacea but in the end, everybody suffers. Obamacare is just one example. American Healthcare is much worse off today than before Obamacare. What is even more disturbing is that Social Democrats have teamed up with Islamists who are vociferously anti-Israel. Linda Sarsour and possible Democratic candidate for Queens DA Tiffany Caban are two such examples. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar are two more. If this trend continues, anti-Semitism will run rampant and anti-Israel sentiments will change the American-Israel alliance in a profound way. If the foundations of this relationship are shaken, the world will become a very unsafe place. Iran will undoubtedly obtain nuclear weapons and the other Gulf countries will try to do the same. 2020 is shaping up to be the most critical election in USA history. (Arutz-7) Begin to intercede now and to be politically informed as the 2020 USA Presidential elections steadily approach.  Plan to be active for righteous candidates and to let your voices be heard. Pray against apathy on the part of those who will be eligible to vote.
