‘TRUMP IS DEMOLISHING THE PALESTINIAN LIE’: Israeli Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan lauded President Donald Trump on Wed. 12 Sept. 2018 saying that the decision to shutter the Palestine Liberation Organization’s office in Washington DC was part of a larger effort by the USA president to ‘demolish the Palestinian’ narrative of Israeli intransigence. At the beginning of the week, the PLO announced that the USA had ordered the closure of its Washington DC mission. The USA State Department later confirmed the move, stating that the Palestinian Authority (PA) had consistently refused to engage with the USA government or to support peace talks with Israel. "We have permitted the PLO office to conduct operations that support the objective of achieving a lasting, comprehensive peace between Israelis and the Palestinians since the expiration of a previous waiver in November 2017," a State Department spokesperson stated. Since President Trump’s, Dec. 2017 announcement recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and subsequent relocation of the USA embassy from Tel Aviv, the Palestinian Authority has snubbed senior USA leaders, including Vice President Mike Pence. The PA has also repeatedly refused to accept the White House’s upcoming framework for a final status agreement. Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan said the White House’s latest move was the nail in the coffin for the PA claim that Israeli intransigence was the barrier to peace in the region. “My happiness over Trump’s move is very understandable. Finally there is a leader of the world’s greatest superpower who is demolishing the Palestinian lie.” (INN) Palestinian organizations have consistently demonstrated their hatred of Israel and their desire to destroy the Jewish state with terrorist attacks, media bias, promotion of jihad, from the cradle to the grave, and Palestinian school text books filled with lies. Peace with the Jewish state has never been a part of the Palestinian agenda. “Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed - without remedy.” Prov. 29:1

NETANYAHU PRAISES USA FOR CLOSING PLO DELEGATION OFFICE: PM Benyamin Netanyahu praised President Donald Trump’s decision to close the PLO delegation office in Washington DC, saying: "the United States has made the right decision. The Palestinians refuse to enter negotiations with us and at the same time, they are attacking Israel with lies in international forums. Israel highly appreciates the Trump administration's decision and supports American actions aimed at making it clear to the Palestinians that refusing to enter negotiations and unbridled attacks not only will not advance peace - they will not benefit the Palestinians." CRUZ WELCOMES CLOSING OF PLO OFFICE IN WASHINGTON: USA Senator Ted Cruz on Tues. 11 Sept. 2018 praised the Trump administration’s decision to close the Palestine Liberation Organization’s (PLO) office in Washington, D.C. “Thirty years ago, Congress correctly declared that the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and its affiliates were terror groups who had no place keeping an office in the United States. Decades of Palestinian behavior since then has confirmed the wisdom of that judgment. Today, Palestinian leaders still refuse to recognize Israel as a Jewish State, still incite and financially reward terrorism, and still lash out against our lawmakers and diplomats,” said Cruz. “Until today, presidents from both parties let the PLO keep an office open in Washington D.C., which signaled to Palestinian leaders that violence and intransigence had no costs, and so hindered the cause of peace. I have repeatedly introduced legislation requiring the office's closure. I commend President Trump and his administration for taking the necessary, prudent, and long overdue step of closing down the PLO office,” added Cruz. (INN)

ABBAS MULLS SEVERING LAST TIES WITH TRUMP: The Palestinian Authority is considering cutting its last ties with the USA government, including crucial security cooperation, after a series of steps by the Trump administration against the Palestinians, including shuttering the PLO office in Washington. PA President Mahmoud Abbas said the American measures, which also included slashing aid to the UN refugee agency that deals with Palestinians could lead to an upsurge of violence in the region. “Ties between the PA and Trump have deteriorated to so unprecedented a nadir” that Ramallah is considering severing all remaining contacts, said PA officials. The Trump administration has cut all aid to the Palestinians this year with the exception of some $42 million it gave them for ongoing security cooperation efforts. Despite longstanding tensions with Israel, security coordination between the Palestinian security forces and the IDF in Judea & Samaria is close and a key component of the relationship between the two sides. The Palestinians have been boycotting the Trump administration in anger after the USA recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in Dec. 2017 and later moved their embassy there from Tel Aviv. The Palestinians claim East Jerusalem as the capital of a future state. PA sources said that Abbas plans to launch a diplomatic broadside against Trump. (Times of Israel)

EGYPT FREEZES ASSETS OF 1,100 CHARITIES LINKED TO MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD: An Egyptian judicial committee on Tues.11 Sept. 2018 announced an asset freeze of more than 1,000 charities tied to the banned Muslim Brotherhood. The funds of 1,133 charities were to be frozen, the committee said, as well as numerous other entities owned by the Brotherhood. The decision came after a law was passed earlier this year to oversee the freezing of assets of “terrorists” and “terrorist groups.” The Muslim Brotherhood was outlawed and designated a terrorist organization in Egypt in December 2013, months after the military ousted Islamist president Mohamed Morsi following mass protests against his rule. The judicial committee additionally announced the assets of 1,589 Brotherhood members would be frozen, including some of the movement’s leaders. Brotherhood members were among 75 people whose death sentences were upheld last weekend over clashes in 2013 between security forces and Morsi supporters. Hundreds of others were given lengthy prison terms in one of Egypt’s largest mass trials since the country’s 2011 uprising, with 739 defendants facing charges. (Times of Israel) The Muslim Brotherhood, founded in Egypt in 1928, is known as the “the father of all terrorist organizations.” It is a revolutionary fundamentalist movement to restore the caliphate and strict Islamist law in Muslim lands and, ultimately, the world. The Brotherhood assassinated Egypt’s Anwar Sadat in 1981 for making peace with the hated "Zionist entity." It also assassinated Egypt`s prime minister in 1948 and attempted to assassinate President Nasser in 1954. Hamas is a "wing of the Muslim Brotherhood," according to the Hamas Charter, Chapter 2. The Charter calls for the murder of Jews, the "obliteration" of Israel and its replacement with an Islamist theocracy. The Brotherhood supports Hezbollah`s war against the Jews and also glorified Osama bin Laden and mourned his death. The Brotherhood remains virulently anti-Semitic and advocates violent jihad. “Rise up, O Lord! Let Your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate You flee before You.” Num. 10:35

AL-QAEDA LEADER: USA EMBASSY LOCATION PROVES IT’S AN ENEMY: The leader of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization on 11 Sept. 2018 called on Muslims to wage war against the United States throughout the world. The comments by Ayman al-Zawahiri came in a 30-minute speech which was translated by the Washington-based SITE group, which monitors media material by jihadists across the world. In the speech, Zawahiri cited Washington's relocation of its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem as evidence of the fact that the USA is an enemy of Islam. "America is the number one enemy of Muslims despite its professed secularism," Zawahiri said. He listed 14 directives to fight the United States, including an appeal for Muslim unity and jihadists close ranks. Zawahiri previously released a recording on 14 May 2018, the day on which the USA relocated its embassy to Jerusalem, in which he urged Muslims to carry out jihad against the United States over the embassy move. Zawahiri took over as Al-Qaeda leader from Osama bin Laden, who was killed by USA special forces in Pakistan in May of 2011. (Arutz-7) Intercede that as in days of old the Lord will send a spirit of panic into the camp of every terrorist organization – rout the enemy – let them turn on themselves and flee seven ways. RUSSIA TO EUROPE: DON’T COOPERATE WITH USA ON IRAN: Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov called on European companies to not cooperate with the pressure exerted by the United States on Iran. "Russia and Iran will continue to work intensively with China and Europe against USA attempts to strike at the nuclear deal," Rybakov said. The 2015 nuclear deal offered Iran relief from sanctions in exchange for restricting its enrichment program. However, Iran did not keep the deal and continued developing its nuclear weapons program. In May 2018 USA President Donald Trump withdrew from the deal, and in August 2018 he signed an executive order targeting Iran's access to American dollars and steel and automobile industries, banning trade with Iran in gold and other precious metals, and including other sanctions which were lifted under the 2015 deal. The European Union has urged its members to continue trade with Iran and attempted to institute a "blocking statute" to protect companies which ignore the USA sanctions. (Arutz-7)

MEMORIAL CEREMONY FOR VICTIMS OF 9/11 HELD IN JERUSALEM: A memorial ceremony was held days ago in Jerusalem for victims of the 9/11 attack on the United States. The ceremony held at the 9/11 Living Memorial Monument in the Ramot neighborhood took place prior to Sept. 11 2018, because this year the anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks fell on the second day of Rosh Hashanah. “In this beautiful plaza, at this inspiring location, we remind the families of those lost and we confirm to people everywhere, that we stand together – Americans and Israelis – and that together we continue to heal and to build, in a spirit of solidarity and commitment to the future,” USA Ambassador to Israel David Friedman said at the ceremony. Among those on hand for the ceremony were United Airlines pilots, firefighters and police officers, and representatives from JNF-USA and Nefesh B’Nefesh, along with Israeli families who lost loved ones in the attack, ambassadors and other diplomats. On Tues. 11 Sept. PM Netanyahu posted a message of condolence on Twitter: “We remember 9/11. We share the pain of our American friends. We share your commitment to wipe terrorism from the face of the earth.” (JTA)
