New Immigrants

Israel is a home to immigrants from all over the world that have made Aliyah throughout the years of its existence. Many escaped persecution for being Jewish, and came to Israel, looking for a sense of hope and security. Unfortunately, many had to leave their properties and belongings behind, coming to a new land with a new language, new culture and new customs. With no assistance, the transition process can be long and complicated.

How We Help Our New Brothers and Sisters
Vision for Israel and the Jewish Agency work together with absorption centers, and we believe it’s our responsibility to help immigrants who left their homes to begin a new life  in Israel. We have been promoting the absorption of immigrants for over 15 years, helping integrate the immigrants, and cooperating with the staff in the absorption centers. The goal is to bring them fully immersed into community life and Israeli culture by giving support in their first few years in the country, and even in later years. We work directly with absorption centers and welfare offices, ready to give aid to any immigrant who comes to the Land.

Finding Community and A Sense of Hope in Israel
Throughout the years, we have been able to donate large amounts of aid to absorption centers including food, clothing, blankets, baby supplies and more. We’re able to give individuals financial aid, furniture, electric appliances and even medical aid.

Some of the aid goes out in the form of sponsoring cultural activities for Café Europa, a special weekly social gathering for Holocaust survivors who have immigrated to Israel. We also work with absorption centers that provide aid specifically to the Ethiopian community. Over the years, we have developed a special connection with the staff at these absorption centers. At Vision for Israel, we support their hard work that has helped many immigrants integrate into Israeli society, and your contribution helps us provide this.

Our goal is $50,000
