The Joseph Storehouse Trust does not keep any data which the Data Protection Act considers ‘sensitive’ such as religious beliefs, health issues or race. This information if offered to us is not kept on your record and only used for the purpose you have given it to us.

Why we keep your personal information:

We keep your personal information for the administration of your gifts and to keep you informed with appeals, activity reports, event invitations, product adverts and prayer requests.

We also keep your personal information to reclaim tax on donations that are eligible for Gift Aid.

Contact Permissions:

We only collect personal data directly from our supporters, we don’t purchase any other lists or undertake any research activities to increase our supporter list.

Email Contact:

Emails are only sent to those that have signed up for the service. Options to change your email preferences are at the top of each email sent should you wish to make any amendments.

Telephone Contact:

We do not call for marketing purposes. We will only telephone our supporters on occasion if the administration of a gift or other charitable activity necessitate it.

Postal Contact:

We send a monthly or quarterly mailing to each supporter or anyone that has signed up for this through our office or at an event. If you have let us know you do not wish to receive this we will not send any postal marketing.

Information Sharing:

We never sell any of the data we hold for our supporters.

We do use a separate mailing company to send our postal mailings each month, this company is GDPR compliant and as a data processor is bound by the regulations to use the data only as we instruct them to do.

Email addresses provided when you have signed up for JNN emails are shared with the Vision for Israel US office as we have a global mailing list that is administered through our US branch. This information is only used for this purpose and not shared with any other third parties.

To book for our Shepperton Moriah we require people to contact someone from the church we jointly arrange the event with. The emails sent to confirm your attendance at this event are always deleted straightaway and only names are kept until the event for the purpose of knowing numbers for catering.
