Abbas Rewrites Jewish and Zionist History

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me…my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident.” Ps. 27:1-3

ABBAS REWRITES JEWISH AND ZIONIST HISTORY: PA President Mahmoud Abbas told the Palestinian National Council in Ramallah on 31 April 2018 that the Jews in Europe were massacred because of their social behavior related to money-lending. "From the 11th century until the Holocaust that took place in Germany, the Jews were subjected to a massacre every 10 to 15 years. But why did this happen? The Jewish issue that was widespread in all European countries was not because of their religion, but rather their social behavior related to usury and banks." Abbas cited a theory that Ashkenazi Jews hail from the Khazar Kingdom in southern Russia and "they have no relationship to Semitic culture, Abraham, Jacob and others." Moreover, he reiterated that Israel is "a colonial project. The story of building a national home didn't come from the Jews, but rather the colonial states."

Israel’s PM Netanyahu accused the Palestinian president of anti-Semitism after Abbas suggested Jews were to blame for the Holocaust. Israel's foreign ministry on 2 May 2018 charged him with fueling “religious and nationalist hatred against the Jewish people and Israel.” Netanyahu added, “It would appear that, once a Holocaust denier, always a Holocaust denier. I call upon the international community to condemn the grave anti-Semitism of Abu Mazen (Abbas), which should have long since passed from this world.” (UK Daily Mail/Times of Israel) Pray that Mahmoud Abbas will be removed from his office as Palestinian Authority President and replaced with someone in his right mind with a true vision to work with Israel towards peace and co-operation.

‘LET ABBAS’ VILE WORDS BE HIS LAST AS PALESTINIAN LEADER’: In an editorial published 1 May 2018, The NY Times slammed Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' speech the previous day in which he claimed the Jews "social role related to usury and banks" was to blame for millennia of anti-Semitism, calling on him to step down from his role as a Palestinian leader. The piece, titled "Let Abbas' vile words be his last as Palestinian leader," asserted that the president has "shed all credibility as a trustworthy partner if the Palestinians and Israelis ever again have the nerve to try negotiations. Abbas' anti-Semitic tendencies are not new," it continued, referencing Abbas' controversial doctoral thesis which put into question the number of Jews murdered in the Holocaust. “This, along with the "governing system plagued by corruption and dysfunction" which he oversees, make Abbas an unfit leader for the Palestinians and for any prospective peace process, the editorial states. The second-to-last paragraph deems this week’s "vile speech" a "new low," and says that "by succumbing to such dark, corrosive instincts he showed that it is time for him to leave office." USA Ambassador to Israel David Friedman used similar words saying that “Abu Mazen has reached a new low in attributing the cause of massacres of Jewish people over the years to their 'social behavior relating to interest and banks.'" (NY Times) “Evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” 2 Tim 3:13

NUMEROUS PUBLIC FIGURES CONDEMN PALESTINIAN LEADERS’S SPEECH: Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon sent a letter to the Security Council and asked it to condemn the “hateful” speech, in which PA leader Mahmoud Abbas claimed the Jews "social role related to usury and banks" was to blame for millennia of anti-Semitism . Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin and Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein each blasted the PA president’s speech as well. The European Jewish Congress called on European officials to cease all contact with Abbas until he apologized. “Feeding reprehensible anti-Semitic myths and conspiracy theories in his latest speech, the Palestinian Authority president, Mahmoud Abbas, shed all credibility as a trustworthy partner if the Palestinians and Israelis ever try negotiations. Abbas' anti-Semitic tendencies are not new. In the 1980s, he wrote a dissertation that questioned the widely accepted Holocaust death toll of six million Jews. Abbas' vile speech was a new low. By succumbing to such dark, corrosive instincts he showed that it is time for him to leave office.” A spokesman for the EU's diplomatic service said the speech Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas delivered on 30 April 2018 contained unacceptable remarks concerning the origins of the Holocaust and Israel's legitimacy. “Such rhetoric will only play into the hands of those who do not want a two-state solution, which President Abbas has repeatedly advocated.” (J.Post)

MOSSAD AGENTS SNUCK FILES OUT OF IRAN WITH AUTHORITIES “ON THEIR TAILS:” Agents of Israel's spy agency Mossad smuggled hundreds of kilograms of files on Iran's clandestine nuclear weapons program out of Iran with Iranian agents "on their tails," Israeli news sources reported this week. The operation required an expansive operational infrastructure within Iranian territory. The secret archives had been moved by Iranian authorities several times in a bid to keep them secret. In Jan. 2018 Mossad agents received information pointing them to certain safes in a specific container inside a warehouse maintained by the Revolutionary Guard's Intelligence Organization in an industrial area of southern Tehran. The team then broke in, removed the files and transferred them to a secondary location. From there a complex extraction operation began. Iranian officials realized that information had been taken before the files were out of the country. Mossad agents managed to smuggle the data out of Iran with authorities “on their tails,” searching for them. Intelligence Minister Israel Katz this week said the operation was unprecedented in Israel’s history. “They took tons of authentic documents and brought them here.” (Times of Israel) Kudos to Israel’s brilliant and courageous Mossad team that obtained life-saving facts for the nations! Pray that what was gained at such a potential cost to this group of Israeli agents will bear much fruit in terms of alerting the world to Iran’s lies and true destructive intentions. May the proof be heeded and may the nations work collectively to topple the Islamic Republic’s designs.

PROOF OF CONSTRUCTION AT IRAN’S FORDOW NUCLEAR FACILITY: Satellite photographs published by the Israeli company ImageSat on Thurs. evening 3 May, 2018 show continued construction and development at the Fordow nuclear enrichment facility in Iran. Fordow was a secret underground uranium enrichment facility until 2009, when Iran revealed its existence. It contained up to 3,000 centrifuges. Under the 2015 nuclear deal, two thirds of the centrifuges, which are used to enrich uranium for use in nuclear weapons, were removed from the Fordow facility, along with all nuclear material. All nuclear related work is banned at Fordow for at least 15 years. However, photographs taken on 19 April 2018 by the Israeli satellite Eros B show "exceptional activity" taking place at Fordow. A large number of cars and buses were seen outside the facility and new buildings were seen under construction. In addition, the entrance gate leading to the tunnels of the enrichment site was left open for an unusually long period of time. According to ImageSat, Iran may be positioning the Fordow facility as a "bargaining chip" in case USA President Trump decides to withdraw from the 2015 nuclear agreement, and may be preparing to reactivate the facility on or following 12 May, 2018 the deadline for the president's decision. The images were taken one day before Israel’s PM Netanyahu revealed that Israeli intelligence forces had retrieved over 100,000 documents and files related to Iran's nuclear program from a secret archive in Tehran. "The Iran nuclear deal is based on lies. It is based on Iranian lies and Iranian deception," Netanyahu said. (Arutz-7)

NETANYAHU’S SPEECH REAWAKENS IRANIAN PROTESTS AGAINST REGIME: "The speech by Netanyahu this week reawakened something in the Iranian people that greatly disturbs them," said Dr. Thamar Eilam Gindin, an expert on Iran from the Shalem Academic Center. “Yet, however dramatic and sensitive the information PM Netanyahu presented regarding Iran's intentions to develop nuclear technology were, what was disturbing to the Iranians was not at all related to the content of his remarks. I saw a large number of people who asked not to call Iran the Islamic Republic," said Gindin. "There were many calls from people who said: 'They the Islamic Republic of Iran do not represent the Iranian people, they took us hostage. You have to differentiate between Iran, which has a history of 3,000 years, and the Islamic Republic, which is 39 years old.’" In a broader light, according to Dr. Gindin, these reactions reflect a mood currently prevailing in the streets of Iran in relation to the regime and the authorities in the republic, the United States and Israel and Netanyahu himself. "People in Iran feel insecure, their currency is weak and the economy is shaky. There are many who oppose the regime. Netanyahu's speech, claiming that Israel caught their government in a breach of agreements, put more pressure on them. They very much want their regime to fall. There are many keyboard warriors but when it comes to taking to the streets, they are scared. Recently the hashtag "We're done!" was used a lot. It has returned in the wake of Netanyahu's speech. GUATEMALAN FLAG FLIES IN JERUSALEM: Guatemala's embassy in Israel moved on 31 April 2018 to its new location in Jerusalem. An official ceremony celebrating the move will take place on 16 May 2018 after the USA relocates its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. PM Netanyahu said that he is "excited to see the Guatemalan flag flying in Jerusalem ahead of the opening of the Embassy this month. Dear friends, welcome back to our eternal capital!" (Arutz-7)
