NETANYAHU TO THE WORLD: “IRAN LIED”: Israel’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday dropped a Mossad intelligence bombshell on Iran, and on the Obama administration-led international community that negotiated the 2015 nuclear deal with Tehran. Netanyahu said on Mon. 30 April 2018 that Iran had lied about never having pursued nuclear weapons and had continued to preserve and expand its nuclear weapons knowledge even after signing a 2015 deal with global powers. “Iran’s leaders repeatedly deny ever pursuing nuclear weapons,” said Netanyahu during a prime-time televised address carried by Israeli networks. “Tonight I’m here to tell you one thing: Iran lied.” The Israeli leader spoke in English and showed pictures and videos of historic secret Iranian nuclear facilities, as well as Iranian documents and plans to develop atomic weapons. Netanyahu asserted that such activities had continued after the 2015 deal that was meant to curb Iranian capabilities.
“After signing the nuclear deal in 2015, Iran intensified its efforts to hide its secret files,” he said. “In 2017 Iran moved its nuclear weapons files to a highly secret location in Tehran.” Netanyahu referred to a secret Iranian nuclear project, codenamed “Amad”, which he said had been shelved in 2003, but he said work in the field had continued. “Even after the 2015 deal, Iran continued to preserve and expand its nuclear weapons knowledge for future use,” Netanyahu said. Iran has always denied seeking nuclear weapons. (Reuters) “Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with malice. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongues they tell lies.” Ps. 5:9
TRUMP ANSWERS NETANYAHU BOMBSHELL ON IRAN: ‘NOT AN ACCEPTABLE SITUATION’: USA President Donald Trump called the Iranian nuclear deal a “horrible agreement for the United States” on Mon. 30 April 2018 after Israeli PM Netanyahu released intelligence he says shows Iran is lying about its nuclear weapons program. “That is just not an acceptable situation,” Trump said during a Rose Garden press conference. “Netanyahu’s claims show Iran is ‘not sitting back idly.’ They're setting off missiles which they say are for television purposes. I don't think so, ” he said. Trump has repeatedly expressed a desire to exit the Iran deal, which was signed during the Obama administration. A crucial deadline for re-certifying the deal is on the horizon. “So we'll see what happens,” Trump said. “On or before the 12th, we'll make a decision.” Earlier Monday, Netanyahu held a dramatic press conference to reveal intelligence, which he said shows Iran is not complying with the nuclear deal it signed in 2015. The information was obtained within the past 10 days, Israeli officials told Fox News. Netanyahu said the files were moved to a "highly secret" location in Tehran, and contained materials spread over 55,000 pages and 55,000 files on 183 CD's. "The nuclear deal gives Iran a clear path to producing an atomic arsenal," Netanyahu said Monday. (Fox) Pray for God’s divine guidance as USA President Trump, European leaders and Israel deliberate on the most effective methods to rein-in the danger Iran poses to the entire world.
‘IRAN UNDERSTANDS ITS LIES HAVE BEEN EXPOSED’: MKs from both the coalition and the opposition expressed great satisfaction with the exposure of Iran's nuclear archives in PM Netanyahu's speech Mon. night 30 April, 2018. Construction Minister Yoav Galant said, "Iran understands today - their lie has been exposed. Congratulations to the intelligence community for an impressive achievement, and much appreciation to the Prime Minister for his courage and determination. Iran is the source of terror in the world - a nuclear Iran is a clear and immediate danger to the peace of the world and especially to Israel," said Galant. Culture Minister Miri Regev added, " I salute the intelligence community for their important achievements in safeguarding the security of the State of Israel and its citizens and the prime minister who leads the international community in the campaign against Iran with determination and without fear."
Member of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, MK Moti Yogev, said "The nations of the world, with an emphasis on the European countries, must know and recognize Iran's lies and impose sanctions against it, which will prevent it from focusing its resources on war through peaceful means, for the stability of the region and to world peace." Former Defense Minister and chairman of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Amir Peretz, said that "this evening Iran was exposed not only as a serial exporter of terror, but also as an obsessive nuclear developer despite its declarations. Israel must act on three main axes: to demand that the international community tighten the monitoring mechanisms and examine the renewal of the sanctions regime, to take all necessary actions to ensure Israel's security superiority and its ability to protect Israeli citizens and to deal quickly and thoroughly with all the deficiencies of the Israeli home front." IRANIAN STATE TV DISMISSES NETANYAHU’S NUCLEAR PRESENTATION AS ‘PROPAGANDA’: Iranian state TV said on 30 April 2018 that Israeli PM Netanyahu’s accusations on Tehran’s nuclear program was a propaganda. “His remarks were not new...full of baseless accusations... and propaganda against Iran’s nuclear work,” state TV said. Netanyahu said on Monday that Iran had lied about not pursuing nuclear weapons and had continued to preserve and expand its nuclear weapons knowledge after signing a 2015 deal with major powers. Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei threatened also on Monday to respond harshly to the overnight attack on the outskirts of Hama. "The era of 'hit and run' attacks has ended, and from now on, any attacks will be answered resolutely," Khamenei said. (Reuters/J.Post)
SYRIA STRIKES SAID TO HAVE DESTROYED 200 GROUND ATTACK MISSILES: An overnight missile attack against weapons storage bases in Syria destroyed some 200 surface-to-surface rockets, a regional official told the NY Times on Mon. 30 April 2018. The official, from the regional alliance of Iran, Syria, Iran and its proxy Lebanese terror group Hezbollah, said the strikes killed at least 16 people, including 11 Iranians. Later reports said there were at least 26 pro-regime fatalities most of whom were Iranian. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, missile strikes hit two military targets in Aleppo and Hama provinces late Sunday, 29 April 2018 It was not clear who carried out the strikes, although some media reports blamed Israel, while others suggested it was a joint USA-UK attack launched from Jordan. Speaking on condition of anonymity, an unnamed source joined other regional officials in saying that Tehran can be expected to hit back at Israel for the bombing, the report said. (Times of Israel)
ISRAEL READY TO BOMB IRAN IF NECESSARY: Israeli defense officials have told their American and Russian counterparts that if Iranian-backed forces attack Israel from inside Syria, Jerusalem will not hold back from retaliating with direct strikes against Tehran or other targets in Iran. The officials delivered the message ahead of a national security statement on Mon. 30 April, 2018 from Israeli PM Netanyahu in response to Iranian threats to hit Israel after recent strikes on Tehran-backed assets in Syria. The developments come amid growing concern in Washington that Israel and Iran are on the verge of a clash that could spill dangerously beyond Syria, where there were reports Monday that missile strikes had killed more than two-dozen mostly Iranian forces supporting the Syrian government of Bashar Assad. Intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz told a radio broadcast Monday that he was “not aware” of the missile strikes. However, Mr. Katz also asserted that “all the violence and instability in Syria is the result of Iran’s attempts to establish a military presence there. Israel will not allow the opening of a northern front in Syria.” Israel’s daily, Haaretz, cited unnamed officials as saying Israel, which enjoys robust support from Washington, is prepared to attack Iran broadly, both on Iranian soil, but also in Syria. The main target, the paper reported, would be bases where Iranian forces have been located since the Syrian civil war began — bases that serve as conduits to transfer weapons and gear up for further Iranian establishment in Syria. (Washington Times/Ha’aretz) It is vitally important to continue to pray for Israel’s safety and preparedness in the event of sudden, cataclysmic developments or surprise attacks. This is especially true in the light of the words of the Biblical prophet who saw in Jeremiah 1:13 “the boiling pot facing away from the north, tilting over Israel and set to be overturned.”
SYRIA STRIKE WAS SO POWERFUL, IT REGISTERED AS AN EARTHQUAKE: Sunday’s 29 April 2018 rocket strikes on two of President Bashar Assad’s military bases registered as a 2.6-magnitude earthquake in the Hama area, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said. On Sunday evening, the Syrian army stated that its bases on the outskirts of the city of Homs, and in the district of Aleppo, had been attacked. A Syrian human rights organization said the attack had been on the home base of the 47th Brigade, at which Iranian forces are stationed, and on bases belonging to the regime of President Bashar Assad in the area of the Salhab airport, west of Hama. Several dozen people died in the attack, the group said. The attack apparently targeted major arms caches, including surface-to-surface missiles that Iran seeks to deploy in Syria, according to assessments. Last week, reports said that USA and Israeli spy agencies have been watching movements of Iranian arms to Syria, and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that Israel will not allow Iran to set up positions and bases in Syria from which to fire missiles. KNESSET: THE CABINET CAN ORDER THE DECLARATION OF WAR: On Mon. 30 April 2018, the Knesset kicked off its summer session, with 62 MKs backing and 41 opposing a law spearheaded by Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked permitting the cabinet to launch military operations without government approval- and in extreme cases, only requiring a green light from prime minister and defense minister. “We must adapt ourselves to the present state security requirements,” Shaked said. “The law reflects reality. In the era of social media, rapid information and the danger of leaks, we must streamline the work of the government and cabinet as much as possible.” (Ynet)
