NETANYAHU TO PRESS BRITAIN FOR ‘COMMON STAND’ AGAINST IRAN: Before leaving for London for his first meeting with British PM Theresa May, Israel’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday morning 5 Feb. 2017 that Israel is on the cusp of a “very significant” diplomatic period. Speaking at the weekly cabinet meeting, Netanyahu disclosed that in his discussions with May and with British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, he will emphasize the need for a “common stand” against the “Iranian aggression that has reared its head in recent days. This needs to be done on a regular basis, especially in light of their defiance of the world order.” His comments come just days after USA President Donald Trump and his National Security Adviser Michael Flynn put the Iranians “on notice” that their disruptive behavior in the region and the world will not be tolerated. Israel’s Energy and Water Minister Yuval Steinitz praised Trump for his position on Iran, saying that “finally a USA president has stood up and said 'we will restrain Iran's misbehavior and its spread in the Middle East. We will not let them continue to develop ballistic missiles, we will not let them continue to transfer weapons to Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.’” (J.Post)

UK PURIM CONFERENCE 2017: PRAYER, PROCLAMATION AND PRAISE! Join us in London for a special and joyous time as we pray and celebrate Purim together in remembrance of the heroic story of Mordecai and Queen Esther and the salvation of the Persian (Iranian) Jews from the wicked plot of Haman. Esther encountered tragedy in her life, but the impact of her obedience and courage makes her story one of great victory. Not considering the consequences for herself when the Jewish people were under threat, Esther put her life at risk to save her beloved people. Esther could only achieve what she did with God’s favor and protection, so she asked her uncle, Mordecai, to call the Israelites together to fast for three days before she went before the King.

Now in this crucial time in the history of the UK, Israel and of the world we are calling you to pray with us. Just as the Israelites fasted for Esther we need to intercede for God’s people who have opportunities to reach those in power. We need to pray and proclaim victorious scriptures and decrees over those who have national and global influence and whose decisions can affect the lives of so many. We want to dedicate a special time at our Purim conference to join in unison to cry out to God. We are calling all the Joseph Storehouse prayer warriors to come and intercede, to proclaim and to praise our mighty God! Date: Saturday 11 March 2017 - Venue: The Emmanuel Centre, 9 - 23 Marsham Street, Westminster, London - Start Time: 10.30am - Cost: £12.00. per person. TRUMP TEAM STARTS TO GET TOUGH ON IRAN: Iran just got a loud - and long overdue - wake-up call from the Trump administration that its rogue and destabilizing behavior will no longer be tolerated. The Treasury Department on 3 Feb. 2017, imposed new economic sanctions against 25 individuals and entities involved in Iran’s ballistic-missile program. The immediate provocation was Iran’s launch of a medium-range ballistic missile that traveled 630 miles before exploding. It’s the 12th such test since then-President Barack Obama’s nuclear pact with Iran was implemented. And it clearly violates UN Security Council resolutions. It must be remembered that limits on Iran’s nuclear enrichment expire as early as 2025. The regime plainly means to have missiles ready to load with nukes by then. The new sanctions also slap Iran’s continued support for terrorist groups like Hezbollah based in Lebanon, and the Houthi rebels in Yemen, who’ve recently attacked Saudi and Emirati ships. Now, as one senior official said: “Iran has a choice to make. We are going to continue to respond to their behavior in an ongoing way, at an appropriate level.” On Thurs. 2 Feb. 2017, 22 senators - evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats - called on President Trump to take the lead in countering Iran. And that’s precisely what he’s doing. The days of turning a blind eye toward Iranian outrages are hopefully over. (Arutz-7)

‘IRAN IS THE BIGGEST STATE SPONSOR OF TERROR’: USA Defense Secretary James Mattis on 4 Feb. 2017, blasted Iran and described it as "the single biggest state sponsor of terrorism in the world". Iran's "misconduct and misbehavior" would have to be addressed, said Mattis, who spoke a day after the United States imposed new sanctions on Iran in response to last week’s ballistic missile test. "We have a responsibility with the rest of the nations to be absolutely clear with Iran in this regard. It does no good to ignore it. It does no good to dismiss it," Mattis said in Tokyo, where he met with his Japanese counterpart to discuss security issues. On Friday 3 Feb. 2017, the Treasury Department announced new sanctions on 25 individuals and companies connected to Iran's ballistic missile program and those providing support to the Revolutionary Guard Corps' Qods Force. DAY AFTER USA IMPOSES FRESH SANCTIONS, IRAN CARRIES OUT FURTHER MISSILE TESTS: Iran carried out further missile tests during an annual military exercise, a day after President Donald Trump imposed fresh sanctions on a raft of individuals and companies in response to the country test-firing a ballistic rocket last week. The country successfully tested a range of land-to-land missiles and radar systems during the drills in a 35,000 square-kilometer stretch of desert in the northern Iran, the semi-official Tasnim agency reported on 4 Feb. 2017. (Algemeiner) Pray that as global political fires continue to flare and burn over Iran that Israel will be given divine strategies to protect her people against the Islamic Republic’s murderous agenda, and will know when and how to carry them out.

IRAN SAYS MISSILES WILL ‘COME DOWN’ ON ENEMIES IF THEY DO WRONG: Iran’s missiles will come down on the country’s enemies if they do wrong, a senior commander in Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guard was quoted as saying on 4 Feb. 2017. Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, chief of the Guard’s airspace division, said: “If the enemy does not walk the line, our missiles will come down on them.” Hajizadeh’s comments came during a Revolutionary Guard military exercise aimed at testing its missile and radar systems. Tasnim said all the equipment used in the war game, including all defensive systems, radars, command centers and ground-to-air missile equipment, are designed and manufactured by Iranian scientists. Iranian English Press TV reported that Iran Vice President Ishaq Jahangiri dismissed what he called recent anti-Iran posturing by the USA. He said “threadbare” accusations are aimed by Washington at scaring away investors. “The Iranian nation and authorities do not attach the least value to these remarks,” he said. (CBS) Iranian leaders, on a near daily basis, spew contempt at the USA government and continue with threats to annihilate Israel. In addition to continued support of global terrorism and banned missile tests, reports from Germany confirm that Iranian efforts to illegally procure nuclear technology are as high as ever. Pray that many more government leaders will take stands to effectively undermine Iran’s vicious goals against Israel and the West.

REPORT: OBAMA ALLOWED IRAN MISSILES THAT COULD HIT ISRAEL: Just as Iran announced the testing of a ballistic missile last week and the Trump administration reviewed plans for new sanctions, the rogue Islamic regime claimed that in nuclear negotiations, former President Obama allowed Iran to have missiles that could strike Israel. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps “indicated that restrictions on the range of Iranian missiles so that they reach Israel but not Europe were part of the Iran deal,” reported the Middle East Media Research Institute. MEMRI said that according to Iranian officials, the Obama administration gave unwritten consent in the nuclear talks for Iran to develop ballistic missiles with a range of only 2,000 kilometers, or 1,200 miles, which means they could strike Israel but not Europe. The agreement purports to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, restricting its research and development capabilities. However, critics say it gives Iran the capability of building nuclear weapons once the deal expires. (WND) The flying distance from Tehran to Jerusalem is a mere 968 miles. Pray against the Iranian threat against Israel according to scripture’s promise: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn.” Isa 54:17

ANTI-SEMITE VANDALIZES CHICAGO LOOP SYNAGOGUE: Chicago Police have opened a hate crime investigation after the plate glass window of the Chicago Loop Synagogue in downtown Chicago was shattered shortly after midnight on 4 Feb. 2017. The synagogue's surveillance cameras show a dark-clothed man wearing a mask exit a dark vehicle, plaster swastika stickers on the synagogue's front door, smash the synagogue's front windows with a metal object, then run back to his car. Nearby construction workers noticed the man and called the police. Loop Synagogue President Lee Zoldan said, "I was stunned. I was not prepared for any of this. We have a lot of contingency plans for what happens religiously, or what happens financially, but not for this. We serve all the Jews in the Loop, which is a lot of Jews. We intend to continue to be here and continue serving our community. It's not going to take us down. We're going to remain strong." (Jewish Press/INN)

MAN SHOVES JEWISH WOMAN, CALLS HER ‘DIRTY JEW’ ON NY SUBWAY: A Jewish woman was verbally abused and shoved aboard a New York City subway by a man with a German accent who recited from an anti-Semitic pamphlet, according to a newspaper report. The incident last week occurred shortly after the suspect, a white man in a dark blue jacket with close-cropped blond hair, boarded the train at a downtown Manhattan station. The suspect shoved the woman, an unnamed 25-year-old, after shouting at her “dirty Jew” and “hail the Hitler Youth!” He was carrying a black bag or briefcase and is still at large, the report said. In an apparently unrelated incident, a swastika was found etched last week in a subway window at a station in Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood. (Arutz-7)

IRANIAN KARATE FIGHTER REFUSES TO COMPETE AGAINST ISRAELI: Iranian karate practitioner Majid Hassaninia refused to take on his Israeli opponent in the 21st Open de Paris - Karate Premier League in France. On Friday 3 Feb. 2017 Hassaninia did not show up for a scheduled encounter against a representative from Israel and was subsequently excluded from the rest of the tournament. The Islamic Republic of Iran has long refused to engage in sports competitions against Israel. (Press TV-Iran)
