“He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.” Ps. 91: 11-13
HAMAS THREATENS ‘INTIFADA’ OVER USA RECOGNITION OF JERUSALEM: Hamas on 2 Dec. 2017 called for a new "intifada" if Washington recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel or moves its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. "We warn against such a move and call on the Palestinian people to revive the intifada if these unjust decisions on Jerusalem are adopted," Hamas said in a statement. The last intifada, or uprising claimed the lives of some 1,000 Israelis between Sep. 2000 and Feb. 2005. PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas' office said on Friday 1 Dec. 2017 that American recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel would "destroy the peace process." Saeb Erekat, Executive Secretary of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), on Friday said that "any American recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel will bring about the end of the Jerusalem issue."
Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act in 1995, requiring the president to move the embassy to Israel’s capital. Under the law, the president may delay implementation of the act for security reasons, renewing the waiver every six months. Trump repeatedly promised to move the USA Embassy to Jerusalem during his election campaign, but in June 2017 decided to keep it in Tel Aviv, at least temporarily. Sources in Washington suggest that Trump is planning a speech on the issue this week, before his deputy Mike Pence heads to Jerusalem. The White House has described reports he may refuse to sign the waiver as premature - but sources told reporters they expect Trump to formally declare Jerusalem Israel's capital. (Arutz-7) Same ol’, same ol’ from the Palestinians when Israel or the USA moves ahead with anything that displeases Hamas or the so called “reformed” terrorist group Fatah - that being that it will "destroy the peace process." What they don’t realize is that there is no “peace process” as long as PA and Hamas television broadcasts continue calling for destruction of the Jews, and as long as Holocaust Denial and hatred of Israel is rampant in PA School Textbooks. It has been long been known that such school textbooks lack any positive information regarding Israel. School maps do not even indicate Israel exists. Additionally, terrorists that are killed in the act of murdering or attempting to murder innocent Israelis are honored as heroes – with a Palestinian street and square named after him or her.

REPORT: HARD FOR PA TO RECRUIT ARAB LEADERS AGAINST USA ON JERUSALEM: Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas is having difficulty recruiting Arab leaders against United States recognition of Jerusalem, according to Israeli news sources. Abbas has called all leaders of the Arab and Islamic region and asked to convene an emergency meeting of the Arab League and the Commonwealth of Islamic States.Despite Abu Mazen's appeals, the leaders of the Arab world are not cooperating with him. The only one who joined him is Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh spoke on the phone with Abbas and agreed that the PA should demonstrate against the American decision, which could be announced by President Donald Trump on Wed. 6 Dec. 1917. ‘WE WON’T ALLOW IRAN TO ACQUIRE NUKES, ENTRENCH ITSELF IN SYRIA’: Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu spoke in a video about Israel's policy regarding Iran's nuclear program. The video was aired Sunday 2 Dec. 2017 at the Brookings Institution’s annual Saban Forum in Washington, D.C. "Let me reiterate Israel's policy," Netanyahu said. "We will not allow a regime hell-bent on the annihilation of the Jewish state to acquire nuclear weapons. We will not allow that regime to entrench itself militarily in Syria as it seeks to do for the express purpose of eradicating our state." In the early hours of Saturday morning, 2 Dec. 2017, Israel reportedly attacked a military base 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) south of Damascus and 50 kilometers (31 miles) from Israel's border. According to some reports, the base in question was intended for use by Iranian forces. Iran is currently establishing a military base in Syria, filling the gap left by ISIS' defeat. In August, 2017 Mossad Director Yossi Cohen warned that the Iranian regime is expanding its control across the Middle East through proxy forces in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. (Arutz-7)
CIA CHIEF POMPEO: SAUDIS MORE WILLING TO SHARE INTELLIGENCE WITH ISRAEL: Saudi Arabia has grown more willing to share intelligence with Israel and other Middle Eastern nations regarding Iran and Islamist extremism, said USA Central Intelligence Agency Director Mike Pompeo on 2 Dec. 2017. The Israeli government disclosed last month that Israel had covert contacts with Saudi Arabia amid common concerns over Iran, a first disclosure by a senior official from either country of long-rumored secret dealings. "We've seen them work with the Israelis to push back against terrorism throughout the Middle East, to the extent that if we can continue to develop those relationships and work alongside them - the Gulf states and broader Middle East will likely be more secure," said Pompeo.
Last month, Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot told a Saudi newspaper that Israel is "ready to discuss experiences with Saudi Arabia and other moderate Arab countries and exchange intelligence information to confront Iran." These warming ties with Israel are part of Riyadh's push to build alliances in its fight against Iran. Saudi Arabia held an emergency meeting with Arab allies in Cairo last month to discuss confronting Iran and Hezbollah. USA President Trump has said Saudi Arabia has a “very positive” feeling toward Israel. A USA-led coalition has been fighting ISIS in Iraq and Syria and is often in proximity to Iran-allied militia fighting also fighting there."You need to only look to the past few weeks and the efforts of the Iranians to exert influence now in Northern Iraq in addition to other places in Iraq to see that Iranian efforts to be the hegemonic power throughout the Middle East continues to increase," Pompeo said. THE CALIPHATE IS DESTROYED, BUT ISIS LIVES ON: The ISIS terrorist group no longer controls any major population center in Iraq or Syria. But it is a resilient and adaptive enemy that will work doggedly in the coming months to keep its brand alive. Many battle-hardened veterans will try to retreat into remote regions of western Iraq and eastern Syria and then periodically attack government forces and urban centers, sending a reminder to local populations that ISIS is still operationally viable. At the same time, ISIS still retains some control over eight global branches and networks, especially in central and southern Libya, and in Southeast Asia. Many ISIS fighters are also likely to return to their countries of origin, with at least some determined to carry on the fight from there. (Foreign Policy) ISIS groups have threatened to target churches, busy malls and Christian sites during the Christmas holidays. Intercede that every plan for ISIS brutality will be averted during this month of celebration. Remember to pray for your family as they are out and about this season.
ISRAEL PULLS OUT OF DEAD SEA SCROLLS EXHIBIT IN GERMANY OVER POLITICAL CONFLICT: Israel has pulled out of a planned exhibit of the Dead Sea Scrolls in Frankfurt because the German government would not guarantee their return if claimed by Palestinians. The Frankfurt Bible Museum announced that it has canceled the exhibit scheduled for a Sept,The Frankfurt Bible Museum, which is largely funded by a local Protestant umbrella organization, reportedly has worked closely with Israeli Antiquities Authority officials for years. Before lending the scrolls, Israel required a guarantee from Germany that they would be returned. Boris Rhein, the culture minister from the state of Hesse, told German news agencies that the German Foreign Ministry and federal commissioner for cultural affairs considered
2019 opening. According to German news reports, a government guarantee would have blocked Palestinian or Jordanian authorities from contesting the provenance of the scrolls, which are among the oldest known texts related to the Hebrew Bible. The first scrolls in the cache were discovered in 1946 by Bedouins in Judea & Samaria, which since 1967 has been under Israel’s control. In 2010, the Jordanian antiquities department demanded the return of some of the scrolls, which it said Israel had taken illegally from a museum there in the 1967 war.the ownership of the scrolls to be unclear. Rhein said he would have gladly issued the guarantee himself, if he could. Frankfurt’s director of cultural affairs, Ina Hartwig, said the cancellation was an “emotional disappointment” and lost opportunity. (JTA)
PERSONAL DRONES TO GIVE ISRAELI COMMANDERS 'EYE IN SKY': Israeli military commanders soon will have a new weapon in their efforts to handle violence and defend their borders. Israel-based news services reported the tiny Middle East democracy has decided to allocate every commander in the Israel Defense Forces their own, private, eye in the sky. There are two sizes being issued, with the smaller only about one and a half pounds, and fitting in a pouch that can be worn on a leg. They are off-the-shelf drones available to anyone with the money. Consumers could buy the same unit for about $1,000, the report said. INNOVATION NATION – PM NETANYAHU: With 8.5 million people, Israel has more companies on NASDAQ than almost any other country outside N. America and ranks third in the World Economic Forum's ranking of most innovative economies. Israel recycles 87% of its waste water, five times more than the runner-up. Israeli cows produce more milk per animal than those of any other country. People everywhere benefit from Israeli innovations in their mobile phones, car navigation systems, life-saving drugs, medical devices - even the cherry tomatoes in their salads. Equally, Israel's intelligence services have helped stop dozens of terrorist attacks in dozens of countries. Our technological prowess has brought us many new friends, alongside our irreplaceable alliance with America. We negotiated economic pacts with Japan and China. Relations with India are booming. Many Arab countries now see Israel not as an enemy but as an ally in our common battle against militant Islam. (Economist-UK)
