The Joseph Storehouses in Israel and abroad have quickly moved to the aid of nations around the world in the wake of natural disasters. On January 4th of 2005, The JSH and a recognized Israeli disaster relief organization loaded emergency blankets, water purification systems containing medical and trauma supplies and boxes of food onto a flat bed truck to be air lifted the very next day to Colombo, Sri Lanka. What an opportunity for us, following the tsunami, to be a small part of the relief effort being sent from Israel into Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean nations.
In August, September and October of 2005, Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma came upon the Southeastern region so strong and so fast that the resulting devastations was one of the greatest in American history. During this time our Joseph Storehouse in Houston TX cleared out blankets, clothes, toys and other needed items to help people who had lost homes, loved ones, jobs and household goods.
On the heels of hurricane disasters in the USA, Pakistan and India suffered a devastating earthquake. In Israel, The Joseph Storehouse immediately collaborated with local agencies to airlift aid to the earthquake disaster areas.
