Between 29 September 2000 and 26 June 2005, 1,074 Israelis were murdered and 7,52O have been injured in acts of terrorist violence. This adds up to over 22,000 vicious assaults on Israelis in five years. With the persistent activity of terrorism upon the people of Israel, thousands of victims remain part of Israel's growing crisis – often physically and emotionally devastated. Due to the severe economic crisis presently facing Israel's citizens, as a result of repeated homicide bombings and terrorist assaults, funding of Israel's social and government sponsored programs and services have been curtailed or discontinued.

These cutbacks have caused great hardship and despair for a large number of recovering victims and families still afflicted by loss of limbs, fundamental body functions and suffering from shock and trauma. The needs are enormous and Vision for Israel & The Joseph Storehouse is providing encouragement, emotional and practical support for many of these precious and traumatized people. We must not forget their hardship and daily suffering.
